I recently came across a piece by Julian Shapiro that struck a chord and resonated with my own thoughts on this concept.
While I've not sat down and codified my own rules, there are a few that I think stick pretty well and do a great job of guiding decisions, many coming from my years of experience on this earth (as Julian points out). As for you? Yes, look to quotes. Also, who are people worth emulating - how did they approach life and purpose? You are uniquely you, so be sure yours is personal (even as Julian has some good ones on his own list).
Call it a lifehack or principles to live by. Either way, it's sure to be your own super power.
